Physician Associate (Physician Assistant) Bay Area Street Medicine

📋 Description

• Provide frontline care to homelessness, SMI/SUD, and complex chronic conditions.
• Deliver acute, chronic, and preventive care directly in the field.
• Conduct assessments, histories, exams, order/interpret diagnostics.
• Report to supervising physician; coordinate atypical and complex cases within scope.
• Design and implement care plans to stabilize patients and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and document encounters.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years with CalAIM populations (homeless, adults with SMI/SUD, post-incarceration, complex medical needs).
• Clinical care in street medicine/outreach; familiarity with SF Bay Area resources.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to adapt to patient/community needs.
• Travel up to 75% with a valid CA Driver’s License and insured vehicle.
• Active CA PA license; PA National Cert; NPI; DEA; BLS.
• Bilingual abilities preferred; Bay Area residents preferred.
