Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining physical well‑being.
• Provide treatment, tests, education, and interventions per PTA plan.
• Deliver home health visits for adults and geriatric patients.
• Perform duties as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and PPE guidelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Current PA licensure or certification to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of a two‑year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• Two years PTA experience and satisfactory proficiency exam (if initial quals before 1977).
• At least one year of work under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Other activities as requested.
