Physical Therapy Assistant, Home Health

📋 Description

• Be partnered with an experienced and supportive home health Physical Therapist.
• Assist clients with treatment, tests, education, and interventions as directed by a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers in rehabilitative care to promote health, safety, and independence.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch pad tablet.
• Locations: Hilo to Pahoa.

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Two years of PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam score.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Hawaii PTA license required.
