Physical Therapy Assistant, Home Health

📋 Description

• Provide PTA treatments, tests, and education per licensed PT orders.
• Deliver home health visits to adults/geriatric patients in Staunton/Harrisonburg, VA.
• Implement interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Maintain patient records and progress notes per agency policy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Current VA licensure or certification.
• Two-year APTA-approved PTA program (transcript/diploma).
• Two years PTA experience and proficiency exam if initial qual before 1977.
• At least one year of work under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Other activities as requested.
• Must uphold patient safety and professional standards.
