Pharmacy Technician (Remote)

📋 Description

• Facilitate prior authorizations with insurance companies and clinician offices.
• Help patients access financial support for high-cost meds via foundations/manufacturer programs.
• Navigate pharmacy dispensing systems to adjudicate claims and support adherence.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and liaisons to ensure seamless patient care.
• Enroll eligible patients into partner health system pharmacy programs.
• Verify insurance eligibility and run test claims to determine copays.

🎯 Requirements

• Licensure: State registration or certification; national certification (CPhT) preferred.
• If no state registration exists, national certification required at hire.
• Commit to obtaining additional licensure within an agreed timeframe.
• Experience: 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience (0–1 years with related experience may be accepted).
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Skills: Verbal communication, telephonic outreach, EMR/pharmacy systems, attention to detail, empathy.
