Pharmacy Technician (Refill Calls)

📋 Description

• Provide integrated support to pharmacy staff and liaisons; ensure accurate refill workflows.
• Make outbound patient refill calls and complete refill requests promptly.
• Answer inbound inquiries and triage issues as appropriate.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist or clinician; confirm days supply.
• Coordinate refills, enter data, and ensure correct stock levels.
• Identify meds needing special storage and maintain confidential data.

🎯 Requirements

• State-registered pharmacy technician; CPhT preferred but not required; licensure within timeframe.
• Required 1+ year as a pharmacy technician; 5-8 years preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills; proficient in Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn other programs quickly; strong organization and attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals is a plus.
