Senior Android Engineer

Overview

Peloton is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to design, build, and maintain the Peloton Android mobile application. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features and reliable experiences for users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain features in Peloton's Android app using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship delightful user experiences.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and promote performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture components (Jetpack), MVVM patterns, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing (unit and instrumentation tests), and Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
