Manager, Manufacturing Engineering — Peloton

Peloton is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering function and drive scalable, high-quality production of Peloton devices. This role collaborates with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to deliver reliable manufacturing processes and execute capital projects on time.

Role Overview

Lead a team of manufacturing engineers, drive design for manufacturability, select and implement manufacturing equipment, and optimize production processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets for Peloton's consumer devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers to deliver results on time and within budget
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for Peloton devices
• Drive design for manufacturability and robust process controls across product lifecycles
• Manage capital equipment projects, budgets, and project timelines
• Optimize yield, throughput, cycle time, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Collaborate with Product Development to ensure manufacturability of new devices
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the manufacturing floor
• Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers as needed
• Define metrics, monitor performance, and prepare leadership reports

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in high-volume consumer electronics or related industries
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
• Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, tooling, and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
