Industrial Designer III

Peloton is a leading connected fitness technology company that designs products and experiences for a global community. We’re looking for an Industrial Designer III to join our hardware design team and help shape the next generation of Peloton's physical products.

Role overview

As an Industrial Designer III, you will drive product concepting, 3D modeling, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and UX teams to create world-class hardware and accessories that delight users.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development and ideation for new hardware and accessories
• Develop detailed 3D models and renderings using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, and Fusion 360
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and packaging teams to ensure design for manufacturing (DFM) from concept through production
• Create design specifications, tolerances, and inspection criteria for vendors and internal teams
• Support design reviews, prototyping, and user testing to validate form, fit, and function
• Contribute to design language, materials selection, and aesthetic direction for Peloton hardware

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial/product design for consumer hardware
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end hardware design, from concept to production
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360) and rapid prototyping methods
• Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM), materials, and tolerances
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to present design concepts to cross-functional teams
