Determine layer stackup, component placement, routing feasibility for PCB.
Create and maintain PCB libraries.
Create and release fabrication documentation for PCBs.
Collaborate with internal teams and PCB vendors to improve design rules and DFT/DFM guidelines.
Utilize PCB design tools, evaluate new tools, and train team members.

🎯 Requirements

B.S. in electrical engineering with 1+ yrs PCB layout, or 3+ yrs layout in lieu.
2+ yrs PCB layout/routing in RF, passive/active parts, BGA, high pin density.
1+ yrs ECAD libraries and library configuration management.
DFM/DFMA, MIL-STD, IPC standards.
Experience with Mentor Xpedition and/or Altium Designer.
Scripting and automation experience.
