Job Summary

We are looking for a tech-savvy IT Technician II to join our team! The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience supporting medium to large corporate environments, responding to queries for support, and offering technical support to employees along with system administration experience. To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated and resourceful learner, possess strong customer interaction and problem-solving skills, and be able to prioritize multiple requests and assignments.

What You'll Do

  • As a member of the Payscale IT team you are responsible for investigating, responding, and solving technical requests from Payscalers remotely and in person.

  • Prioritizing, assigning, and bringing up service requests as appropriate.

  • Writing and updating self-help instructions to make it easy for employees to fix issues on their own if possible.

  • Ability to provide administration to infrastructure such as Okta, JAMF, Slack, Manage Engine, and other systems.

  • Skilled at working with a variety of people across all levels of technical prowess.

  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to simplify the toughest problems down to simple steps that anyone can follow.

  • Highly motivated and able to perform independently in a fast-paced IT team.

  • VIP support for executives and senior leadership.

  • Customer-service focused: zeal for delivering high-quality service to folks and passion to find new ways to constantly improve.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of proven ability providing IT support and system administration as part of a corporate IT team.

  • Consistent record of solving problems on Windows & Mac Operating Systems, peripheral hardware, and various software applications

  • Experience with Active Directory

  • Operating Systems imaging and deployment

  • Encryption, Antivirus software

  • Microsoft 365

  • Able to trouble shoot with remote desktop tools.

  • Experience with system administration (Windows/macOS)

When it matters (usually no more than a few times a year) we take the time to gather in larger groups for in-person events.
