Payroll Specialist Lead - Poland (Individual Contributor)

📋 Description

• Ensure payroll is accurate, on time, and compliant with country regulations.
• Own end-to-end payroll for assigned jurisdictions, including inputs, calculations, and post-payroll.
• Act as payroll SME, staying up-to-date with regulatory developments.
• Support rollout of payroll services in new jurisdictions and integrate into workflows.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on payroll matters.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and compliance issues; escalate as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Polish payroll operations experience with end-to-end payroll in Poland.
• Experience managing multi-country payroll in global organizations with diverse systems and regulations.
• Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and compliance.
• Comfortable coordinating with internal/external stakeholders in Remote’s payroll ecosystem.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving for complex payroll scenarios.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
