  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll across multiple countries.
  • Review, audit, and validate payroll data including timesheets and deductions.
  • Ensure timely processing of new hires, terminations, pay changes, and other actions.
  • Maintain and update payroll records in the HRIS/payroll system with confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with People and Accounting to maintain data and payroll accounting.
  • Reconcile payroll outputs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper funding.
  • Support employee inquiries related to payroll, compensation, and taxes.
  • Own and lead tax reporting and year-end payroll processes, including W-2s.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws (FLSA and state rules).
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports.
  • Generate and deliver ad hoc payroll reports to support audits and decisions.
  • Serve as a backup and assist with onboarding for new hires.
  • Stay informed on international payroll laws and tax codes; propose updates.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing or related role with autonomy.
  • Multi-country payroll knowledge (US, CA, Costa Rica, UK, Germany, Australia).
  • Experience with payroll software (ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar) and HRIS.
  • High diligence and accuracy handling sensitive financial and personal data.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to meet recurring payroll deadlines across multiple countries.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong Excel skills β€” VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.
