Payroll Manager

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end U.S. payroll processing (semi-monthly) for multi-state employees.
• Lead payroll ops including commissions with ADP Workforce Now.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local payroll regs and registrations.
• Partner with HR to ensure accurate employee data for payroll and benefits.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and support monthly close.
• Identify processes improvements to automate payroll workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of payroll experience, including payroll accounting.
• Experience in a technology-forward, high-growth startup or scaling tech company.
• Deep hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; NetSuite experience preferred.
