  • Own the payroll function and main contact for payroll matters
  • \n
  • Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls in Ceridian for multi-state US payroll
  • \n
  • Manage workflows to ensure payrolls are processed accurately and timely
  • \n
  • Ensure payroll tax returns are filed accurately and on time
  • \n
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports
  • \n
  • Work with HR People and international finance/payroll teams
  • \n
  • Facilitate audits with tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax changes
  • \n
  • Perform payroll analysis and research as required
  • \n
  • Conduct periodic audits of payroll records and assist in audits
  • \n
  • Collaborate with teams on cross-functional payroll matters and train on policies
  • \n
  • Assist in ad hoc projects: document workflows, state payroll tax registrations, and process improvements
  • \n
  • Coordinate with Finance to record payroll and 401(k) transactions
  • \n
  • Receive, review and process freelancer and benefits invoices
  • \n
  • Maintain HRIS/payroll data for hires, terminations, promotions, changes
  • \n
  • Handle sensitive payroll data with integrity and confidentiality
  • \n
  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll inquiries
  • \n

    \n
  • 5 years experience processing payroll for a medium to large company
  • \n
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing
  • \n
  • Experience with G Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets) is a plus
  • \n
  • Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce and Workday is a plus
  • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • \n
  • Strong Excel and analytical problem-solving skills
  • \n
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapid changes
  • \n
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and minimal supervision
  • \n
