Payroll Lead (China Payroll)

📋 Description

• Own the China Payroll Country Pod; ensure timely, accurate payroll per regs.
• Serve as main contact between internal and external payroll stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with international payroll laws, taxes and benefits.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and internal governance.
• Develop KPIs and SLAs and document payroll processes per GDPR guidelines.
• Plan, implement and test system changes and periodic payroll tasks.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in regional/global payroll operations, especially China.
• Risk management and discretion with confidential matters.
• Knowledge of global payroll best practices.
• Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries; manage providers.
• Proficient in SAP and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong payroll knowledge: preparation, balancing, internal control, taxes.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
