Payroll Country Lead - Italy APL

📋 Description

• The Payroll Country Lead owns the complete Country Pod of the APL, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country specific regulations; provide guidance and mentorship to the team.
• Serve as a point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on payroll country matters.
• Be up to date with various international payroll laws / regulations / Tax and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies and procedures.
• Manage relationships with payroll, accounting and payroll service providers, including staffing agencies (APL) and related stakeholders.
• Develop and implement best practices, KPIs and SLA metrics for the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in regional/global payroll operations, including Italian staffing agencies (APL).
• Proficient in SAP, Excel / Google Sheets, and Zucchetti Paghe Project.
• Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.
• Understanding of global payroll best practices.
• Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
