Payroll & Benefits Manager

📋 Description

• Own Payroll Operations
• Run end-to-end payroll for all employees (staff and faculty)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
• Manage payroll through Rippling, incl. audits and reporting
• Maintain accurate payroll records and data
• Collaborate on payroll budgeting and forecasting

• Lead Benefits Administration
• Own the full benefits portfolio: health, dental, vision, retirement
• Lead annual benefits renewals with brokers/vendors
• Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and employee comms
• Optimize offerings to balance experience with cost
• Support leadership with comp/benefits insights

• Drive Systems & Compliance
• Admin Rippling (HRIS) and Fidelity (401k)
• Ensure ACA, ERISA, COBRA compliance
• Support reporting, reconciliations, audits, forecasting
• Assist equity administration with Carta
