🚀 Security (Sophos) Vendor AmbassadorLocation: Remote (US-based) | Team: Vendor Alliances | Type: Full-time (1 Year duration funded by our Vendor)
As our Security (Sophos) Vendor Ambassador, you'll be the bridge between Pax8 and Sophos, fueling growth, building excitement, and making Sophos a superstar in our Cloud Marketplace. You’ll drive real revenue, supercharge our partner engagement, and make sure everyone—from internal teams to external MSPs—knows exactly why Sophos is the cybersecurity solution they’ve been waiting for.
Every day, you will...
Champion Sophos across Pax8’s ecosystem of 35,000+ MSP partners
Lead sales enablement and drive growth by training internal teams and partners
Analyze the sales pipeline and increase conversion rates—yes, we're talking about moving that win-rate needle 📈
Collaborate with sales reps (CAMs, PSCs, SSCs) to overcome objections and close deals
Host engaging webinars and partner enablement sessions (bring your A+ presentation game)
Act as a subject matter expert on all things Sophos (no pressure, we know you’ll nail it)
Monitor vendor satisfaction and continually tweak your approach to drive ROI
To thrive in this role, you must...
Speak fluent “tech” AND “people”—you simplify cloud security like a champ
Understand the MSP ecosystem and how channel sales work
Have solid experience with sales metrics, analytics, and reporting
Be naturally curious, a fast learner, and someone who thrives in the unknown
Love presenting, enabling, and teaching others how to win
Be unafraid to own tricky situations and follow through until resolution
Rock a blend of empathy and direct communication (we call it Compassionate Candour)
In 6–12 months, success in this role looks like:
✅ You've increased Sophos revenue by double digits through our Marketplace
✅ You've led impactful enablement for both internal teams and external partners
✅ You've improved win rates and accelerated deal velocity
✅ Sophos is raving about their Pax8 experience—and you're the reason why
✅ You’ve become the go-to expert for Sophos at Pax8
✅ You’ve developed a clear feedback loop and improved partner onboarding and retention
Within 90 days:
You’ve completed onboarding and know your way around Pax8 and Sophos
You’ve built relationships with key sales and vendor teams
You’ve delivered your first internal training session and joined your first partner-facing webinar
Within 120 days:
You’re driving qualified opportunities through the funnel
You’ve identified areas of friction in the sales process and proposed solutions
You’re actively tracking win rates and influencing improvements
Within 6 months:
You’ve helped launch new Sophos initiatives in the Cloud Marketplace
You're leading enablement sessions like a pro
Sophos is seeing measurable ROI on their investment through you
B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent experience
Technical aptitude + people skills = your secret sauce
Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up game

Compensation: - qualified candidates can expect Base salary of up to $90,000.00 and Variable compensation equaling an additional $10,000.00 for OTE of $100,000.00
