- Own strategy/roadmap to scale Patreon’s platform
- Drive initiatives across core services, APIs, reliability, scalability

- Establish operational excellence (on-call, SLAs, SLOs)
- Hire, develop, and mentor senior engineering leaders; report to execs
🎯 Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering with 5+ in management
- Experience leading platform/infrastructure or backend teams
- Proven scale of consumer/UGC/marketplace to millions
- Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, SOA
- Experience operating production systems with high availability
- Preferred: developer platforms/internal tooling; AWS/GCP
