📋 Description

• Provides continuous observation of patients using in-room audio/visual equipment.
• Collaborates with bedside team to ensure safety and comfort, with fall prevention.
• Immediately reports hazards outside policy to bedside licensed personnel.
• Documents clear, accurate patient activity and interactions per guidelines.
• Communicates essential patient information to care teams per protocol.
• Protects patient privacy and maintains professional communication.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as patient safety attendant or hospital unit secretary desirable.
• Must complete CPI Verbal Intervention Training within 30 days.
• Must meet CPI competency assessment within 3 months.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computers, telephone, and fax.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
