About Passage

Passage helps international students study, work, and build their future in Canada. We provide access to education financing, career pathways, and long-term settlement support. We do our best to make it possible for ambitious students to focus on success.

We’re a fast-growing fintech and education technology platform supported by leading global investors. Our brand is built on trust, results, and genuine impact — and we’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can turn that story into measurable growth.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can transform attention into applications.

This is not a “content calendar” role — it’s a strategic and creative position that ties social storytelling directly to business results. Your work will shape how thousands of students discover Passage, understand what we do, and take the step to study abroad.

If you understand how a great brand builds emotional connection and drives action, this is your kind of challenge.

The role

We are looking for a versatile, "roll-up-your-sleeves" Marketing Coordinator to support our growth engine. In this role, you will touch on content creation, email marketing, digital events, and operational support. You will keep our campaigns moving, handling the preparation, organization, and creative execution that allows our team to move faster.

What you’ll do

  • Multi-channel content production: You are the content factory. You will create content, design one-pagers, and do basic editing for social media.

  • Marketing operations & organization: Manage the central marketing calendar. You track deadlines for emails, ads, and launches, ensuring the team is organized and assets are delivered well in advance.

  • AI & automation: You will actively research and test AI tools to increase speed and output. You’ll also help build simple automations to reduce manual tasks for the team.

  • Email & communications: Draft newsletters, announcements, and email drips. You will handle the copywriting and layout (staging the emails) for review and approval.

  • Event & webinar support: Assist in the logistics of digital events. This includes setting up registration pages, creating promotional graphics from pre-approved templates, and managing post-event follow-up emails.

  • Market research: specific research projects (e.g., "Find the top 10 influencers in this niche" or "Audit study abroad trends in a specific market"). You summarize findings into actionable insights.

Who you are

  • The generalist: You have a broad skillset. You are proficient in Canva, comfortable with Google Sheets, and familiar with email marketing platforms.

  • The planner: You love checklists and folders. You know that good marketing requires good organization. You ensure files are named correctly and deadlines are visible.

  • The writer: You can write clearly and concisely using simple words for different formats—whether it’s a professional email, a catchy headline, or a student success story.

  • The agile learner: You don’t need a manual to figure out a new tool. If we need to use a new piece of software, you dive in and learn quickly.

  • High impact: You understand that in a fast-growing company, no task is "too small." You take pride in executing the details perfectly, knowing it contributes to the big picture.

What success looks like

  • Operational efficiency: The marketing calendar is always up to date, and the leadership team never has to chase you for assets.

  • Asset output: Consistently delivering a mix of high-quality assets (blogs, graphics, videos) weekly.

  • Project completion: Ad-hoc projects and research tasks are completed accurately and on time.

  • Quality control: All work submitted (emails, graphics, copy) is proofread, on-brand, and error-free, requiring minimal edits from management.

Why join Passage

You’ll be part of a team that’s changing how international talents access education and opportunity in Canada. Every post, campaign, and story you create will directly impact real people’s lives.

We’re building a brand that stands for something: access, ambition, and belonging. If that excites you, you’ll thrive here.
