- Lead packaging development from init to launch, aligning with regulatory and sustainability goals.
- Develop and maintain packaging specs, BOMs, and docs for primary/secondary/tertiary packaging.
- Support commercialization: qualification planning, line trials, and scale-up.
- Develop and execute packaging test plans (compatibility, functionality, shelf-life) with external labs.
- Identify and resolve packaging issues during development and production.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and suppliers to evaluate components, materials, and costs.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
- 3–5+ years packaging engineering in CPG/regulated environments.
- Hands-on packaging development and commercialization experience.
- Experience with contract manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and external labs.
- Experience owning packaging specs, trackers, or sustainability data.
- Experience supporting packaging sustainability initiatives, GHG calculations, or ESG/CDP reporting.
