[P] Data Scientist, Policy

📋 Description

• Partner with product and business teams to produce policy data analyses
• Determine metrics that reflect Anthropic to policymakers and public
• Own dashboards and pipelines; keep externally-shared numbers consistent
• Use AI tools to track news, policy developments, and public data sources
• Develop measurement frameworks for policy communications and campaigns
• Design analyses to support internal positions or measure policy impact

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analysis tools; experience with external data sources
• Experience producing analysis for external audiences (policy, communications, IR, or research)
• Applied causal inference using quasi-experimental designs (DiD, RDD, synthetic control, IV, matching)
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for varied audiences
• 6+ years of hands-on data science experience
• Direct policy, government affairs, or regulatory data support; familiarity with investor-relations or financial-disclosure data standards
