Outpatient Occupational Therapist

📋 Description

• Perform outpatient therapy evaluations to plan care for seniors in living communities or group homes.
• Provide top-of-licensure, evidence-based care to maximize functional independence.
• Collaborate with home health to transition clients to outpatient services.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on care plans to maximize independence.
• Document evaluations and treatments using the outpatient EMR.

🎯 Requirements

• Current VA Occupational Therapist license.
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of one year of OT work experience.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
