Web3 Backend Engineer (Onsite – HCM)

Orderly is seeking a Web3 Backend Engineer to join our onsite team in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on building scalable backend systems that power decentralized applications and interact with blockchain networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services for Web3 applications
• Integrate with blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum) and manage interactions with smart contracts
• Develop robust APIs and microservices; ensure reliability, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and platform teams
• Write tests, monitor performance, and optimize systems
• Participate in architecture decisions and code reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Go, or Rust
• Hands-on experience with Web3 technologies and smart contracts (Solidity)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis)
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork

Nice-to-have

• Ethereum tooling (ethers.js, web3.js) experience
• Experience with event-driven architectures and scalable systems

Location

Onsite in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
