🎯 Requirements
- Master’s/PhD in optics, computational physics, or applied math, or equivalent R&D experience.
- Deep understanding of laser/optical systems, including propagation and thermal coupling.
- Proven experience building multiphysics or digital twin models for complex systems to drive decisions.
- Proficiency with tools: COMSOL, ANSYS, Zemax, FRED, CodeV; strong programming in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, with Git.
- You approach modeling as a scientific discipline — validating assumptions and quantifying uncertainty.
- Preferred: System modeling tools (Simulink, Modelica, Simcenter, Twin Builder) and integrated digital engineering workflows.
