- Proficiency with COMSOL, ANSYS, Zemax, FRED, CodeV; Python, MATLAB, C/C++, Git.
- Scientific approach: validate assumptions, quantify uncertainty, improve fidelity.
- Ability to translate results across disciplines to inform design decisions.
- Preferred: Experience with Simulink, Modelica, Simcenter, Twin Builder; HPC (MPI, CUDA).
- Preferred: Hands-on exposure to laser systems or optomechanical hardware.
