- Collaborate with optical engineers, laser physicists, and experimental teams to translate results into design decisions
๐ฏ Requirements
- Masterโs or PhD in optics, computational physics, applied mathematics, or related field
- Strong experience in optical and multiphysics simulation of complex systems
- Ability to couple optical, thermal, mechanical, and fluid domains into system models
- Solid understanding of laser and optical physics (propagation, amplification, spectral, nonlinear)
- Experience in model validation, uncertainty quantification, data-driven refinement
- Programming: Python, MATLAB, C/C++, plus COMSOL/ANSYS; Zemax/CodeV/FRED
