Drive laser-focused requirements and direction for optical interconnect roadmap.
Lead evaluation/validation of optical components and subsystems (laser-based).
Support end-to-end optical testing for IM/DD interconnects from bring-up to scale.
Coordinate with external partners on milestones, targets, and quality.
Own triage/resolution of issues across performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Collaborate across internal teams to enable integration and scale.

🎯 Requirements

Strong experience in laser-focused optical engineering (development to field support).
Hands-on IM/DD optical technologies and test/debug workflows.
Experience with external suppliers and production-oriented execution.
Data-driven debugging of complex technical issues.
Clear written and verbal communication; influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Advanced engineering degree preferred (or equivalent).
