- Develop reduced-order and surrogate models for efficient Digital Twin deployment.
- Collaborate with optical engineers and labs to guide design decisions.
๐ฏ Requirements
- Masterโs or PhD in optics, computational physics, applied mathematics, or related.
- Strong experience in optical and multiphysics simulation.
- Ability to couple optical, thermal, mechanical, and fluid domains.
- Solid understanding of laser/optical physics (propagation, amplification, spectral, nonlinear).
- Experience in model validation, uncertainty quantification, and data-driven refinement.
- Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar; experience with COMSOL/ANSYS/Zemax/CodeV/FRED.
