The Position

We are seeking abuilder-operator hybrid—a Director of Supply Chain who can architect and scale a mature supply chain capability from the ground up, while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day operations. This role is hands-on and based in our Tampa warehouse, with a strong emphasis on build quality, QA/QC, and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for designing and executing a supply chain strategy that supports OPSWAT’s hardware growth, ensuring every unit shipped meets our standards for quality, branding, and customer experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build & Scale Supply Chain CapabilityArchitect and implement scalable supply chain processes, systems, and vendor networks to support OPSWAT’s hardware growth trajectory.
  • Hands-On QA/QC OversightLead quality assurance and control efforts in the Tampa warehouse, including hardware assembly, imaging, testing, and packaging. Ensure every unit meets functional, security, and branding standards.
  • Warehouse Execution & FulfillmentOversee daily operations in the Tampa warehouse, including inventory control, ERP data accuracy, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product Management to align supply chain execution with product specs. Work with Creative and GTM teams to ensure packaging and branding elevate the customer experience.
  • Vendor & Logistics ManagementBuild and manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners. Ensure compliance with export regulations and hardware-specific controls.
  • Operational Metrics & Continuous ImprovementDefine and track KPIs across procurement, fulfillment, and QA/QC. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Team LeadershipHire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of supply chain and warehouse professionals.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in hardware or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing global logistics, procurement, and fulfillment operations.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of global compliance requirements, with a particular focus on export regulations and hardware specific controls when distributing goods across international borders.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), demand planning, and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
