Strategic Finance, Hardware R&D Finance Manager

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end hardware R&D financial models from concept to production.
• Partner with Hardware Eng and Product on roadmap sequencing and resourcing via financial frameworks.
• Translate roadmaps into financially grounded R&D plans (headcount, tooling, infra, timelines).
• Drive capital discipline and investment efficiency; identify changes and risks early.
• Own R&D forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with spend vs plan.
• Build standardized R&D dashboards for burn, milestones, and capital allocation.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of finance experience in hardware, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Passion for building world-class finance teams and driving margin, working capital, forecast accuracy.
• Strong ability to evaluate opportunities and risks.
• Expert financial modeling with precision and accuracy.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and storytelling when presenting data.
