Director of Strategic Finance, Payments & Platform

📋 Description

• Primary strategic finance partner for Payments and Integrity teams.
• Own payments and platform fees P&L, forecasting, margins.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and BD on payments decisions.
• Own end-to-end economics: fees, costs, refunds, fraud losses.
• Drive cost optimization: vendor negotiations, routing, regional expansion.
• Lead quarterly and long-range planning for payments spend.
• Support automation and scaling of forecasting/reporting tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in investment banking, consulting, or buy-side with ops at scale.
• Experience owning budgets for major functional areas and day-to-day execution.
• Experience building and reviewing complex models, specifically in payments.
• Strong ability to evaluate opportunities and risks in financials.
• Distill financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Enthusiasm for technology and artificial intelligence.
• Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
