Overview

Oddball is hiring a Fullstack Engineer (React/Node) to join its engineering team. This remote-friendly role requires strong frontend and backend development skills. You will build scalable web applications using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, collaborating with product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain features across the stack using React and Node.js.
Build robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
Implement responsive UI components, integrate with backend services, and ensure performance and reliability.
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

Experience with React and Node.js in production.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team and communicate clearly.

Nice to have

TypeScript experience.
Cloud (AWS) familiarity.
Docker/Kubernetes familiarity.
Experience with CI/CD and testing frameworks.
