AI Solutions Architect

Overview

Oddball is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions for clients. This remote role combines technical leadership with hands-on architecture work to translate business needs into robust, production-ready AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Define reference architectures for AI/ML systems and guide implementation across projects
• Select technologies and platforms (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) to meet client needs
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to shape end-to-end AI solutions
• Design scalable data pipelines, model deployment strategies, and monitoring practices
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance considerations are integrated throughout projects
• Create technical documentation, governance artifacts, and best practices for the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience (education optional)
• 5+ years of software/architecture experience with AI/ML systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience deploying ML models to production and implementing MLOps practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a distributed remote team

Nice to Have

• Experience with data engineering, model monitoring, and CI/CD for AI applications
• Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance standards relevant to AI
