Occupational Therapist - Home Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Conduct evaluations of functional status: muscle, endurance, vision, ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor performance; plan interventions.
• Evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Update OT care plan with nursing in the multidisciplinary team.

🎯 Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
• Home care experience preferred, but not required.
• At least 1 year of OT experience.
• Graduation from an AMA/AOTA-accredited OT program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
