Occupational Therapist - Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Evaluate patients' functional status (muscle function, endurance, coordination).
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance; craft individualized plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations for better outcomes.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch pad tablet.

🎯 Requirements

• Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum one year of recent OT experience.
• Graduation from an accredited OT program (AMA/AOTA).
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
