Occupational Therapist - Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Evaluate functional status: muscle strength, endurance, coordination, ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance; plan interventions.
• Inspect home environment for hazards to independence; recommend changes.
• Document observations and interventions in EMR using a touchpad tablet.
• Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary team to update care plans.

🎯 Requirements

• Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum one year OT experience; home care preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an AMA/AOTA-accredited OT program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
