Occupational Therapist- Home Health

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories.
• Evaluate functional status, including strength, endurance, vision, and ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects; develop intervention plans.
• Evaluate home hazards for safer, independent living.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Educate patients and families to promote health, safety, and independence.

🎯 Requirements

• A current VA Occupational Therapist license.
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
• A minimum of one year of recent OT experience.
• Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by AMA and AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
