- Establish framework for concurrent M&P development with system design (TRL 1-7)
- Set up and manage the materials development laboratory for rapid progress
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize projects reducing time to full-rate production
- Prepare technology development proposals detailing business need, plan, risk, cost, ROI
- Mentor team members and foster extreme ownership
π― Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in materials engineering or another engineering field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or high-rate production
- Strong background in new product introduction (NPI)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in scaling production, integrating new products, and driving cost reduction
- Familiarity with FAA Part 21 production requirements and quality systems is a plus
