About Novellia

Novellia is the only patient-powered real world data platform delivering comprehensive, patient-authorized longitudinal health insights to accelerate biopharma innovation. Unlike traditional RWD providers who provide fragmented institutional data, we empower patients to access 15+ years of their health records for free, then transform these complete health journeys into fit-for-purpose datasets for evidence generation, regulatory submissions, and market access. We're growing 5x YoY with top pharma partners, our data have been published with leading scientific organizations such as ASCO and SABCS/AACR, and are backed by tier-1 investors including Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, Bling Capital, and more.

Novellia is on a mission to grow our patient population and expand access to our services. This is a high-impact role — you’ll be accountable for the full funnel of growth: from acquisition strategy through execution and optimization. In the next ~18 months you will effectively “hold down the fort” as a hybrid individual contributor and department head, laying the foundation of a growth engine and scaling with the company’s ambitions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the growth strategy for patient acquisition: identifying target segments, channels (digital, offline, partnerships, referral, etc.), funnel design and metrics.

  • Execute end-to-end: you’ll roll up your sleeves. This is not purely strategic high-level work — you must be willing and able to dive into tactics, tests, data, iteration as well as strategy.

  • Design, launch and optimize acquisition campaigns: e.g., paid channels, SEO/SEM, content, referrals, partnerships, events, provider outreach, community.

  • Define key metrics and KPIs (e.g., cost-per-acquisition (CPA), conversion rates, lifetime value (LTV) of patients, retention/engagement metrics). Monitor, report, and act.

  • Work cross‐functionally: collaborate with marketing, product/service, operations, clinical teams, analytics. Ensure growth activities integrate into operations and patient experience.

  • Build the growth infrastructure: analytics/tracking, tooling, dashboards, experimentation roadmap, growth loops.

  • After ~18 months you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a small growth team; in the interim you will operate as the primary growth owner.

  • Bring a data-driven mindset: experiment, fail fast, iterate, double-down on what works.

  • Stay on top of industry trends, patient acquisition best-practices, healthcare marketing regulations/compliance.

  • Manage budget for acquisition channels and optimise spend vs return.

  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership (CEO/COO) on growth performance, insights, risks, opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant growth/marketing experience (ideally with at least some exposure in healthcare, digital health, SaaS, patient-facing services or other consumer services).

  • Proven track record of acquiring and scaling users/customers/patients via multiple channels, with measurable impact.

  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable with data, metrics, dashboards, experimentation frameworks. Able to translate data into insights and actions.

  • Hands-on attitude: you must be comfortable executing day-to-day tactics and also thinking strategically.

  • Experience managing acquisition budgets and optimizing spend across channels.

  • Familiarity with growth tech stack (analytics, tracking tools, experimentation software, CRM, marketing automation).

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment, ambiguity, evolving priorities. Ability to “hold down the fort” and get things done with limited resources.

  • High energy, creative, resilient — showing willingness to test, learn, iterate, and pivot when needed.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare / patient journey / regulatory/compliance environment.
