We are looking for an exceptional Gen AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize AI-driven applications on Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on .NET technologies. You’ll play a key role in developing a chat‑based application that leverages Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) to validate eligibility decisions against state‑maintained regulatory lists in a high‑compliance environment.

Do

 

  • Contribute to designing end-to-end architecture for AI-powered applications built on Azure.

     

  • Develop robust, scalable backends using .NET Core and Semantic Kernel.

     

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

     

  • Work closely with a Senior Architect to iterate on solution design and ensure technical excellence.

     

  • Integrate GenAI capabilities into real-world applications using Azure AI tools.

     

 

What

We’re

Looking For

 

  • +5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering roles (i.e. Back End developer, Front End developer, DevOps, Data Engineer or similar roles)

     

  • Proven experience building AI-driven or data-centric applications on Azure.

     

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Semantic Kernel (or similar Agent libraries like LangChain, LangGraph, Open AI Agents SDK, etc).

     

  • Experience working with RAG pipelines or similar AI-driven architectures.

     

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and proactively asking questions or defining assumptions.

     

  • Ability to think at the business problem level and propose actionable technical solutions.

     

 

Nice-to-Haves

 

  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure Cognitive Services.

     

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform).

     

  • React, Angular or Blazor familiarity.

     

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

     

  • Containerization skills (Docker/Kubernetes).
