So, what’s the role all about?
The Software Engineer in Test designs, develops, tests, and maintains the NiCE software platform. This role involves working across all tiers of the NiCE technology, including designing and developing tests for NiCE CXone products and features, performing manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and quality, conducting functional and load testing, and participating in code reviews. The engineer is responsible for resolving test defects encountered during the Software Development Life cycle, supporting lab and production environments, and collaborating with other engineers in a team environment that utilizes agile development processes.
About the team:
At NiCE, we don’t just test software — we reinvent quality. As a Software Engineer in Test on our End-to-End Testing team, you’ll shape the future of AI-driven, autonomous testing for a global, market-leading software suite.
This is your chance to apply agentic AI to orchestrate complex E2E workflows, predict risk, and improve release confidence — all while collaborating across multiple products, teams, and environments. You’ll drive automation strategy, lab stability, and intelligent testing insights, making a measurable impact on both product quality and customer experience.
We’re looking for someone curious, driven, and innovative, with strong experience in QA, automation frameworks (Playwright, Java/JS, SQL), and agile development. If you’re passionate about pioneering AI-assisted testing and leading cross-team collaboration, this role gives you the platform to define the next generation of quality engineering.
The End-to-End Testing team is dedicated to ensuring product quality and reliability across the suite by validating features from a holistic, customer-centric perspective. Our work spans E2E feature testing, maintaining lab stability, certifying new production environments, and supporting smooth release deployments.
A key focus is providing confidence that integrated features, environments, and releases work seamlessly - reducing risk, ensuring stability, and enabling predictable outcomes for both customers and internal stakeholders. This is especially critical for organizations scaling complex solutions, where reliability and consistency across environments directly impact customer experience and operational success.
By combining rigorous testing practices, proactive lab support, and disciplined certification processes, the End-to-End Testing team ensures that releases are stable, environments are dependable, and the overall ecosystem performs at its highest potential.
