What You’ll Do:

 

We’re looking for a

Senior Director of Sales

to join our fast-growing sales organization and serve as a senior leader on the East Sales team.  Reporting directly to the Vice President, Sales in NYC, this role will be both a hands-on sales role as well as a leadership role to coach and inspire a team of sellers to deliver strong revenue growth and partner success.  You’ll play a critical role in setting team strategy, delivering results, and advancing Nexxen’s leadership in the digital ecosystem for your business.

 

If you are a proven people manager with deep industry relationships, expertise in advertising sales and programmatic media, a strategic mindset, and a competitive “must-win” mentality -- we should talk.  This role is for someone who thrives on building and strengthening relationships, understands the art of negotiation, and is equally energized by collaborating in-office and being out in the market to grow business.  

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team through clear expectations, coaching, and goal-setting.

     

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy on your book of business to drive new business growth, exceed revenue targets, prioritize business, and expand market share across programmatic and managed service solutions.

     

  • Serve as a senior leader on the sales team, providing additional coverage, guidance, and support to peers and the broader organization.

     

  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with agencies, brands, and clients who value meaningful engagement and partnership.

     

  • Use data-driven insights to shape account strategies, guide team decisions, and enable forward-looking client conversations.

     

  • Accurately forecast revenue, manage pipeline, and guide business projections across multiple product lines.

     

  • Champion Nexxen’s capabilities and differentiators - including CTV, proprietary data, and audience discovery solutions - through client meetings, industry events, and thought leadership.

     

  • Oversee hiri

    ng, training, and professional development to retain top sales talent on your team.

     

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, and marketing teams to align on client needs, influence go-to-market strategies, and deliver seamless client experiences.

     

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and fun in-office culture that drives team connection and performance.

     

What

You’ll

Bring

 

  • 10+ years of digital advertising sales experience, including 6+ years of direct people management leading high-performing sales teams.

     

  • Strong track record of building trusted relationships with decision-makers at independent agencies, holding companies (WPP Media preferred), and direct brands.

     

  • Deep expertise in sales frameworks, programmatic media, digital video, DSPs, and advanced audience/data solutions, with experience mentoring teams to drive strategy, prospecting, and revenue growth.

     

  • Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets and coaching teams to achieve larger business outcomes.

     

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence stakeholders, solve complex challenges, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

     

  • Passion for fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and client-first thinking, while developing the next generation of sales leaders.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is

$160,000 - $180,000 at the time of posting

,

with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, discretionary time off, and company-paid holidays. hybrid

work model with the expectation of 

3 days minimum in the local office
