🚀 About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Senior Developer - L3 to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their KL office.

We are seeking a Senior Developer (L3 Support) with deep expertise in Core Banking systems, specifically within the Investments & Wealth Management domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, development, and maintenance of applications that support wealth management and advisory services. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in .NET and MS-SQL, and a solid understanding of DevOps and financial services operations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 (L3) production support for Core Banking systems focused on Investments & Wealth Management. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex issues in the .NET and MS-SQL environment. Develop and enhance applications supporting wealth management and advisory services, including investment advisory, portfolio management, and client segmentation solutions.
• Collaborate with L2 support, development, and DevOps teams to ensure high system availability and performance. Implement fixes, perform root cause analysis, and deploy patches/releases in coordination with DevOps processes.
• Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and automation initiatives. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards within the wealth management domain.

Technical Skills:

Languages: .NET (C#, ASP.NET), SQL Database: Microsoft SQL Server Operating Systems: Windows, Open Systems Tools/Platforms: DevOps toolchains (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git), CI/CD pipelines Domain Expertise: Investments & Wealth Management systems, Advisory and portfolio management solutions, Core Banking processes

Qualifications & Experience: 6-9 years of hands-on experience in application development and L3 production support within the banking or financial services sector. Proven track record of handling critical incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis.

Experience working with Wealth Management and Investment Advisory systems (client onboarding, portfolio tracking, advisory workflow).
