🚀 About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Senior AWF Developer to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their KL office.

Senior Developer with 6-9 years of experience in OpenText AppWorks (AWF) development. The role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of complex workflow and BPM solutions on the Shared Platform, while mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and JavaScript, experience with MS SQL databases, and proficiency in Windows Server environments. Knowledge of banking processes such as AML or COSMIC is a plus.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications on OpenText AppWorks. Implement complex business workflows and process automation solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable Java and JavaScript code.
• Manage and optimize MS SQL database interactions and queries. Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting on Windows Server.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices and code quality. Document technical designs, code changes, workflows, and release notes.

🎓 Qualification & Experience:

1. Bachelor in IT, Computer Science or Engineering.
2. Min 6-9 years of experience

     Technical Skills:

      Must-Have:

Platform / Product: OpenText AppWorks (AWF)

Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript

Database: MS SQL Operating System: Windows Server

Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of banking workflows such as AML Exposure to COSMIC workflow or process management
