Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Matillion Developer with deep expertise in Snowflake and a solid understanding of banking or financial services data. This role is pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines that support high-performance data operations and regulatory compliance across financial datasets.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL workflows using Matillion and Snowflake
Work with complex banking datasets including transactions, compliance, risk, and audit trails
Partner with data analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance tuning across all pipelines
Support cloud-based data integration initiatives on Azure and AWS
Maintain documentation and contribute to data governance practices

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development
4+ years hands-on experience with Matillion and Snowflake
Advanced proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
Strong understanding of banking/financial data structures, including regulatory and compliance requirements
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Skills

Exposure to data modeling, data quality frameworks, and metadata management
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
