🌟 Hiring: Business Analyst – Malaysia (Client Location) | New Era Technology 🌟

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Business Analysts to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their Kuala Lumpur office.

The selected candidates will be part of the Business Solution Office (BSO) team, responsible for bridging business needs with technology solutions through requirement gathering, solutioning, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.

1. Business Partnering & Demand Management

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and understand evolving business needs.

• Manage business demand, prioritization, and alignment with technology capacity.

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project and demand status.

2. Solutioning & Delivery Support

• Collaborate with technology and development teams to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Lead and facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and solution planning.

• Prepare comprehensive Solution Packs outlining end-to-end business and technical solutions.

3. Business Analysis & Documentation

• Gather and document clear, complete business requirements (BRS).

• Validate functional specifications against business requirements.

• Support test planning, traceability matrix creation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Ensure minimal change requests post-BRS sign-off.

• Education: Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.

  • Minimum 3+ years in the Insurance domain (preferably GI P&C or Health Insurance).

  • Hands-on experience with digital transformation, UI/UX design, or omni-channel initiatives is a plus.

  • Background in consulting or solution architecture is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of insurance products, digital platforms, business processes, and industry regulations.

• Proficient in MS Office, Visio, and Project tools.

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., IIBA, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Nationality: Malaysians preferred. Expatriates may be considered for strong profiles.

• Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates who can join at short notice.
