Team Description:
The Pathology Team at Neuralink plays a critical role in the evaluation of macroscopic and microscopic tissue samples derived from preclinical studies. Our team encompasses specialized units focused on Anatomic Pathology, Histology, and Digital Pathology, working collaboratively within the Preclinical Department to advance Neuralink's mission of creating a generalized brain interface to restore autonomy to those with unmet medical needs today and unlock human potential tomorrow. As a Pathology Associate, you will provide critical, cross-functional support across our specialized cores, contributing to essential data capture and laboratory functions that are foundational to our preclinical research.
Job Description and Responsibilities:We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated Pathology Associate to execute a range of essential tasks across the Anatomic Pathology, Histology, and Digital Pathology cores of our Pathology department. This individual will apply foundational laboratory skills to perform technical procedures, capture high-quality data, and ensure operational continuity, providing a broad support base for the pathology pipeline.
This role requires a proactive approach to learning, flexibility in responsiveness to prioritized needs, efficient completion of assigned tasks, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to support Neuralink's ambitious goals. Reporting to the Pathology Lead, the Pathology Associate will work closely with Pathology Specialists across all cores to gain experience and contribute directly to study outcomes. Successful candidates will have a strong record of technical aptitude in a laboratory setting and a desire to learn and master new skills across multiple pathology disciplines. Expected Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the following range. Your actual base pay will be determined by your job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We also believe in aligning our employees’ success with the company's long-term growth. As such, in addition to base salary, Neuralink offers equity compensation (in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSU)) for all full-time employees.
